The most recent information that I have on the Internet Gopher
(which I retrieved from boombox.micro.umn.edu last week just
prior to a workshop I co-taught in New York) suggests that the
character, or terminal, based version of the Internet Gopher can
be accessed using the following address:
 
   TELNET consultant.micro.umn.edu
   login: gopher
