Subject: Re: Internet Access

James Love inquired about contacting (?) people who might want
access to the Internet but don't have it. Charles McClure of Syracuse
University has a grant from OCLC (sort of via D. of Education) to study
public libraries on the Internet. He and his assistants have been
doing focus groups with public librarians, vendors, library school
faculty, academics, and special librarians to discuss this issue.

He has also been asking librarians to fill out a survey telling what
you know (or think) about the Internet/NREN. The results will appear
in papers and in a book.
