Funny to hear about information overload on CNIDIR-L -- a list
which has alternated between a hope for taming overload and
a source of that very same network load.
 
My #1 suggestion for CNI (and this list) is to explore and
take good advantage of the usenet news system, first by
arranging a gateway of CNIDIR-L to bit.listserv.cnidir-l.
That way readers can dip into the recent discussion on
the list at their leisure, rather than necessarily being presented
with a big pile of CNIDIR-L mail along with their daily
ordinary e-mail of cats that need to be taken to the
vet and what to have for dinner tonight.
