The GILS forum is no longer an active list.

The GILS forum was a public, moderated forum open to anyone interested in discussing development, implementation, deployment, policy, and technical issues surrounding the Government Information Locator Service (GILS) initiative. The GILS forum provided the opportunity for staff, state and local government agencies, Z39.50 implementors, librarians, information service providers, public interest groups, the general public, and others to participate in discussions related to GILS. The forum also provided announcements and access to documents related to the GILS intiative.
