                          NEW MIT PRESS JOURNAL:
                "MARKUP LANGUAGES: THEORY & PRACTICE"

The "Journal on Markup Languages," edited by Michael Sperberg-McQueen and
B. Tommie Usdin, will make its debut as an M.I.T. Press quarterly in early
1999. This will be a technical jounral dedicated to text markup.
