Below is a selection of some of the resources and events recently added to

1. "Working with the Distributed National Electronic Resource (DNER):
Standards and Guidelines to Build a National Resource" is accessible through
the METADATA and STANDARDS areas of PADI.
2. Listed in PADI's GENERAL RESOURCES area is the English Heritage Centre
for Archaeology's "Digital Archiving Strategy".
3,4. Two articles by Dr. Howard Besser recently added (see AUDIO AND
AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL area of PADI) are "Longevity of Electronic Art" and
"Digital Preservation of Moving Image Material?".
5. The National Library of Australia's pamphlet, "Managing Web Resources for
Persistent Access" is listed under PERSISTENT IDENTIFIERS.
6,7. Under DIGITAL PRESERVATION STRATEGIES is the IBM Research report,
"Long-Term Archiving of Digital Information", and a review of the proposal
contained in this report, published in RLG DigiNews, "A Project on
Preservation of Digital Data".
