I like your way with language - up to a point. The point is, what's
your point? I too enjoy the silly very moocho, but ranting and
raving as I may, it is possible that a thought lies inside my
words.
The thought is this: the Republican party has been a
dependable conduit for ideas that support and represent the interests
of the rich elite who have controlled the US at least since WWII. The
above-named Republican presidents, as Dole and Grinrich, are their
mouthpieces. This is not to say that most of the Democratic party
are not trying to do the same - only that historically they have had
elements that occasionally fit the interests of the 98% of Americans
who are not represented by Republicans.
This is a simple idea. It is easy to test. Look up positions
of each party on consumerism, ecology, healthcare, legal help for
the poor, job programs,etc.
Both are aspects of the power structure, which is shown
most chillingly when the US murders abroad to protect the interests
of the priveleged few (Vietnam,Grenada, Panama, Gulf War), and the
ignorant masses, hypnotized by Reagan and the media of which he
is the essence (GE connection) will fight to the death to serve
those who have no concern for human life (not the Vietcong in this
case...).
There. I feel better. It's out in sigh-ber swoosh now.
