With all due respect (and apologies for my past rudeness), you are
enmeshed within a capitalist, materialistic ideology that perceives
every thing in terms of the interchnage of commodities, also regarding
these communications as those between "wastedumps", instead of human
beings, which is what we are. Although I expressed it too hotly, I was
correct in my intuition that you a fundamentalist capitalist - which
unfortunately does indeed inhibit your ability to reason.
Without intending to be condecending:
Thoughts, ideas, and written communications are not
commodities, however superficially they appear to resemble them.
Thought, to paraphrase Pascal, is the noblest human capacity. That is
not a 'liberal" idea, but simply an idea. You did not arrive at your
way of thinking by examining a wide variety of opposing philosophies
and having your intuition light a bulb in your brain; you picked it up
from your culture, which reinforces its mechanistic messages endlessly
in our media. Hence my reference to your need for "regrooving" in order
to start reexamining everyone of your basic premises afresh, if you
have the desire and capacity.
