Thanks for comments Hans Klein. I have been posting some CPB stuff
because I haven't seen it posted in this conference. I have been
looking for postings from APTS (Americas Public TV Stations) which is
part of this conference but have not seen much. The ITVS stuff was
from ITVS and specific to that part of CPB. If you listened to any of
the hearing today on rescinding money for CPB you heard what we are up
against. I posted the witness panels yesterday.
We (Natl Campaign for Freedom of Expression) has a lot of material on
CPB and am glad to follow you advice as I agree about on-line advocacy.
I have primarily waited to step in because APTS and ITVS are part of
this conference.
We will be doing the same postings as the attacks on the Natl Endowments
for the Arts and Humanities commence in full next week.
We need to more fully utilize the on-line potential for advocacy. I
have tested this with CPB but forwarding and reposting some of the alerts
to other lists and individuals who have then forward them further and I
have received amazing feed back from all over from people/groups wanting
more info about how to help, where to call or write, what to say, more
talking points, etc. I was surprised. (Note: just noticed my type in
second line of this paragraph which should read "tested this with CPB
BY forwarding..."
