According to an AP story, Jones Intercable has offered to take over the 
programming assets of PBS.  PBS programming would then be syndicated to 
commercial TV and cable networks.  "We would run it just like a 
commercial syndicator and sell to other markets" said Glenn Jones.

In addition, the educational aspects of PBS would be absorbed by the 
Jones Education Network (which includes Mind Extension U.)

I suppose we would then auction our licenses off to the highest bidder 
to reduce the national debt.  :-(
