Dear Colleagues,

The Council of 100, a national organization of African American
Republicans, is hosting a luncheon forum on Thursday, March
16, 1995, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.  Our
luncheon speaker is Sen. Larry Pressler, chairman, Senate Commerce
Committee, who will discuss telecom reform in the 104th Congress.

The forum affords TPR members, of which the Council of 100 is one,
an opportunity to hear the Senator address the issues of universal
service, access to technology, opportunities for meaningful 
participation by minority, women and small business owners.  Sen.
Pressler's remarks will be followed by a 10 to 15-minute question
and answer period.

Please respond no later than Thursday, March 9.  For more information
about the forum or the Council of 100, drop me a line.  I look forward
to greeting you at the luncheon.
