COMMUNITY MEDIA:
THRIVING IN THE TECHNOLOGY REVOLUTION

The technology revolution is upon us. Technology once
created new opportunities for public, educational, and
government access on cable television. Now newer
technologies are shifting this terrain. The concept and
the practice of community media have never faced such
crucial challenges or offered such exciting potential.

The 1995 Alliance for Community Media Conference and
Trade Show will help you sort out the opportunities from
the threats, provide practical skills for thriving in
this revolution, bring together soul mates with common
interests and concerns, and dazzle you with new equipment
and services. Help create a shared vision of what
community media is -- and what it can become.

Over forty sessions will feature policy makers,
community media leaders, attorneys, producers, media
allies, and visionaries. This is one conference you won't
want to miss!
