I'd like to have seen people like:
     o  Vint Cerf of Internet Society
     o  Stewart Brand of The Well
     o  someone from CPSR
     o  Phil Agre
     o  someone active in community networks
     o  someone from CPB


G7 turned out to be one of those hardware vendors' conferences, 
lacking representation from users and the software community.
