Re "Newt's not speaking to anyone except his understudies" (Vigdor
in repsonse to James McD re being a socialist journalist) - I wrote
a letter (email) to Newtie that wasn't entirely effusive, but I
did include a sincere offer for dialogue, debate and exchange. There 
was no reponse. Try it and see what happens. For someone who extolls
democracy on the net, there's the beginning of still another clay-footed
hypocracy here. VP Gore's rep has taken part here - why not some
Grinchers? [response is spelled thusly, even at 4am].
