Richard,
you presume because Jamie wasn't there that there wasn't a range of
views presented and discussed, which was not the case.
Am I supposed to publicly critique Jamie's paper proposal, and show how
it stacked up against the ones we accepted? Sorry, won't do that.
However, we are prepared to work with him to get his work into the next
rounds of the discussion in the electronic journal, and the book. Jamie
and I discussed this today, and I think I can speak for both of us that
we'd like to put this to bed and get on with more important things than
to debate attendance lists at a workshop. Feel free to post this if you
want to continue to discuss this on the roundtable list, but I'm getting
a bit tired of it.
Re future workshops, depending on the topic, we will invite and issue
calls for participation in the directions that are appropriate in each
case. A balance of views is something we always strive for.
Can we have a few weeks to post the results of the meeting please, so
people can decide if their concerns were justified or not? Thanks.
Lee
