I agree 100% forms of government can and do overlap considerably. The
BBC example is very good. I'd suggest that the US adopt such a policy,
but I feel the timing isn't right.
It wasn't meant to confuse the discussion, rather to focus it. You are
also correct in pointing toward what regulatory framework is appropriate
for the market mechanisms to operate within. In the area of video on the
NII, I am very well versed and very supportive of a regulatory framework
called "leased access".
Lastly I did not mean to say: "do it my way or you're a pinko.", but
rather "my way works also, don't be affraid of profit."
