The potential benefits of the Pressler bill [S. 652] described in this
message by APT are grossly overblown, while the detrimental provisions
contained in the bill, which are disregarded in this message, are nothing
short of catastrophic. The bill is just a massive corporate give-away
looking for support from the public interest community through a pathetic
preference scheme that is divisively structured, offers little to those
included, and leaves most indivuals, social and environmental needs out.
I hope that you will use your good judgment about this matter before
joining any support for this travesty.
