I suggest (in case you haven't) you see the film PRIEST which was
the first target of Dole's hypocracy-- I am sure he hasn't seen it
and neither has his wife who sold her Disney shares because of it.
What is amazing is that that film is about people like Dole. He is
represented by the types who storm out of the curch at the end of the
movie. It is one of the most moral and ethical films I have seen in
a while. another example of why "second hand sources" (re; Rick
Crawfords earlier post) when it comes to art are worthless. Like
Arlene Croce's attack on bill T jones in the New Yorker.
I once approached some protestors outside a gallery space who were
upset about an exhibition inside. I asked if they had seen it and
they said they didn't need to; they knew they were opposed to it.
Yes, they have the right to protest, they just don't have any
credibility.
I bet a big check from Barbra Streisand could calm Dole down.
