Regarding Ted Leventhal's note on free speech:
I am wondering why I've not seen a mention of treason as a defining
characteristic of speech not protected by the First Amendment.Seems
a fairly simple test - if someone is proposing damage to our
government via damage to people or property, then there are defined
ways to address treasonous behavior. The challenge, of course,
comes in those gray areas, but it would seem time to stiffen the
backbone a bit, dust off that definition of treason and start using it.
