Actually the net, or the information on the net, might be viewed as a
form of pure communism.  It is there for all to use according to their
needs and is produced based on ability and interest.  Maybe that's why
many are so hot to commercialize it.  Valuable stuff without a price 
tag...  sounds unAmerican to me.
