Readers of the list might be interested in the recently completed report 
on rights management technologies prepared for  the International 
Federation of Reproduction (not as in the reproduction of living things) 
Rights Organizations (IFFRO). The URL is

a couple of words of warning. the aggregate size of the files is about 
109K.  There are a number of graphics. It loads slowly at 14.4.
