        FCC's Wireless Cable Auction Begins Monday, November 13

The FCC begins the latest round of spectrum auctions on Monday, November
13, with the wireless cable license auction.  This is the Commissions 
first entirely remote auction with no on-site bids.  The Commission will 
auction 493 licenses for Multipoint Distribution Services (MSD), commonly 
referred to as wireless cable.

Results will be released at a news conference at 3:30 pm that afternoon.

Future auctions include:
*     Specialized Mobile Radio Service                Nov 28
*     Broadband Personal Communications Services      Dec 11

The FCC will be offering daily round results for each auction via one-page
fax.  Fax the following information to 202.418.0048
