I would suggest that everything is possible and will be and why not?
As this universe is explored, it will probably be plundered as well as
enhanced as well as turned upside down. Surfing vs deep intelligensia -
both have significance and in 10 years we will all probably laugh about
the fact that we had this discussion. I would hope that we will be
smarter in our investigations of this particular universe, but I have
my doubts. But barriers at this stage - I hope not.
