The vote was actually 17 to 16, with three liberal Democrats -- Pat
Schroeder (CO), John Conyers (MI), and Sheila Jackson-Lee (TX) voting
with Goodlatte.
So now everything is much more tidy for the conference committee.
The House and Senate have similar cyberporn measures, basically Exon.
The Senate is examining the House language, but the only area that
appears to need tinkering is in the "defenses to prosecution." And,
the tinkering here may or may not be critical.
In any case, we have Exon II!!
