address the social, economic, and political impacts of the
[National Information Infrastructure]." This is their
analysis of H.R.  1555

Ralph Nader and the Consumer Project on Technology Ralph
Nader, James Love and Andrew Saindon, July 15, 1995 letter
on Federal Telecommunications Legislation - Impact on Media
Concentration.

Regional Bell Operating Companies viewpoint on the bill "The
Alliance for Competitive Communications comprises the seven
Regional Bell Operating Companies Ameritech, Bell Atlantic,
BellSouth, NYNEX, Pacific Telesis Group, SBC Communications
Inc. and U S West."  "The following response to the start of
the Conference Committee deliberations on 1995
telecommunications legislation may be attributed to Gary
McBee, chairman of the Alliance for Competitive
Communications."

LDDS WorldCom opposing viewpoint LDDS Worldcom, one of the
four largest long-distance companies in the U.S., expressed
strong opposition today to the latest version of
telecommunications legislation moving through Congress.
