Emily,

We're flexible; it is awkward to return from the holiday/new years break
- but we at ALA also have a conflict on Jan. 9.  If we have the latest
word on final language of the just "negotiated" telecom. bill. the Jan 2
date is fine for getting the latest....If folks really don't want to come 
on Jan 2 - I'd rather have some other day that week than change it to a 
different week.
