Hi,

The folks at Sonoma State who are hosting this conference are trying to 
get the word out for late registration, so I'm forwarding the message to 
lists and individuals who might be interested.

Conference for Electronic Villages at Sonoma State University-0-

Sonoma State University is hosting a Conference for Electronic
Villages on October 12, 1996.  We are interested in gathering those
individuals who are interested in using Computer-Mediated
Communications to revitalize communities and society.  The goals for
this conference are ambitious, but we have some wonderful catalysts
(speakers and written materials) lined up.

However, we have a problem.  We did not get the word out about this
conference early enough.  To reach as many interested individuals from
all walks of life (as soon as possible), we are posting this message
electronically, AND we are reducing the registration fee to a
bare-bones level. The content is still the same, but we've changed the
amenities (This is now a "brown bag affair, not catered.) Students and
Seniors: $15; everyone else: $30.

We also need to hear from you by Monday, October 7.
