This document is a tutorial for using the network diagnostic tools on the inetroom@cni.org support account. Use this procedure to access this account:

   telnet a.cni.org

   login: inetroom

NOTE: Use all lower case when logging in. No password is required.

Opening Menu

When you first login, you will see this menu:

     Choose one of the following tasks



       1)  ping             6)  nslookup



       2)  whois            7)  traceroute



       3)  digger           8)  read staff BBS



       4)  finger           9)  quit



       5)  query SMTP port



     Enter the number of the task you want to perform.

In the main system, typing the menu number and striking RETURN will take you into the corresponding function.
