FINS SPECIAL REPORT MARCH 1, 1994

FINS "InfoAge" NAME CHANGE
Trade Mark Objection Claimed
Fins has received an objection from an individual who claims to hold a
registered trade mark for the name "InfoAge" that Fins began using
recently in connection with a digital library maintained at the inforM
system of University of Maryland. If the claim is true, our claimed
violation has been entirely inadvertent. However, to avoid all
possible confusion on the issue we have decided to modify the name
"InfoAge" used in the directory address of our electronic library.
The directory name has been changed to "Fins_Information_Age" Lib.
Follow these directions to browse the Fins Information Age Lib:
If you have a Gopher client :
gopher to inform.umd.edu
and go to the directory
Educational_Resources/Computers_and_Society/Fins_Information_Age
If you have ftp :
ftp to inform.umd.edu
cd to inforM/Educational_Resources/Computers_and_Society/Fins_Information_Age
