Project Plan

Approach
1. The project will study the experience of students and faculty members in working with the AMICO Library.
2. Survey techniques and focus groups will be used to address the research questions posed by the AMICO Testbed Project.
3. The AMICO Library will supplement a departmental collection of 100,000 slides currently migrating to electronic form via CD-ROM and the Web.
4. Some faculty members will work directly with the AMICO Library, selecting and downloading the images they want to use. Others will work with images selected by project staff and pre-configured into a local database.
