The National Research Council (NRC) established the Board on Research Data and Information in the fall of 2008 with the mission “to improve the management, policy, and use of digital data and information for science and the broader society.” This session will provide an overview of the new Board’s structure and agenda of planned activities, and will provide an opportunity for the participants in the session to provide input to the Board and to discuss the issues raised by the presenters.
