CNI Fall 2021 Membership Meeting
Virtual: December 6-9, 2021
In-Person: December 13-14, 2021
JW Marriott Hotel, Washington, DC
Representatives from CNI member organizations gather twice annually. Attendance is limited to member representatives, speakers, and invited guests.
At this time, we expect to hold BOTH a virtual event and an in-person event, each independently of one another, and designed to complement each other. Member representatives can register for either or both the virtual or in-person events; we will ask you to indicate your intention on the registration form for planning purposes.
- The virtual event will take place afternoons Eastern time, on Dec. 6-9. It will include the Executive Roundtable (on the 6th and, if necessary, on the 9th), selected plenary, panel, and project briefing sessions (mostly on the 7th and the 8th), and pre-recorded presentations.
- The in-person event will take place on Dec. 13-14, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. This event will be designed to maximize time for gathering and connecting, with longer breaks, fewer concurrent sessions than usual, and new organized discussion opportunities. We intend to record essentially all presentations from this event and make them rapidly available.
- The in-person event will adhere to local and venue health mandates at the time of the event. We understand this is an evolving situation, and we invite you to read more about our health and safety guidelines.
- Our contingency plan, if we cannot hold an in-person event, will be to move the majority of in-person sessions to a virtual event on Dec. 13-14, extending to December 15 if needed; these would take place during afternoon hours, Eastern time.
Registration information will be sent to member representatives in late September.
*New* Discussion Groups will allow in-person attendees the opportunity to connect and dive deeper into pre-identified topical content. These sessions will not be recorded in order to maximize engagement
