Finding the way and the role in supporting students in the ethical and effective use of generative artificial intelligence can be a challenge for libraries. This session will cover how the Library at the University of Calgary worked to build artificial intelligence literacy and integrity supports for students on campus via the establishment of a transdisciplinary Centre focused on engaging with students in their quest to explore and learn more about this new technology. We will share our model and how we ended up becoming a key unit in supporting all of campus in their desire to learn more about this challenging new technological development.
