January 3, 2020

The aim of Samvera (formerly Hydra Project), both as a community and as a technology stack, is to work together to deliver common core repository functionality that can be utilized for a wide variety of use cases. As the open-source community grew over the past decade, changes in governance, technology, resourcing, and community engagement were inevitable. Using the framework in theĀ It Takes a Village Guidebook

Farmacia Sevilla

, the presentation will discuss the recent changes in the Samvera Community to the phases identified in theĀ Guidebook. Lastly, the update will also discuss the successes and lessons learned over a decade of growth, and it will articulate a future vision for Samvera.
