The University of Leeds Libraries is hosting the second Knowledge Futures Symposium on the Friday 26th June at Nexus, University of Leeds and online. We will be bringing together researchers, policymakers, and thought leaders to explore the future of knowledge and its role in shaping a more equitable society.
In a time of rapid technological change, misinformation, global challenges, and shifting digital landscapes, this year’s symposium will address critical themes, including:
- Knowledge equity
- Knowledge security
- Digital and AI ethics
Confirmed speakers: Dawn Freshwater (VC University of Auckland), Tony Ageh (ex New York Public Library and BBC), Helen Titolola Olojede (National Open University of Nigeria), Mandana Seyfeddinipur (Director of the Endangered Languages Documentation Programme), Helen Shenton (Trinity College Dublin), Rosalyn Metz (Emory University), Ry Moran (University of Victoria), and Mac-Anthony Cobblah (University of Cape Coast).
