Registration nearly full for Designing Libraries VIII
Few spaces still open for early October conference at Georgia Tech
If you’re thinking of attending the eighth installment of the Designing Libraries Conference held Oct. 6-8 at Georgia Tech, make sure to register ASAP. Just a few spots remain.
Confirmed for the conference is keynote speaker Eric Klinenberg, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Institute for Public Knowledge at New York University and author of Palaces for the People, a look into how social infrastructure can help fight inequality, polarization and the decline of civic life.
Joining the professor are architects, designers and speakers from universities, museums and national libraries across the globe providing insight on design thinking, building community through space and creating teaching and learning facilities for the 21st century.

Cost for the conference is $500, with one of two pre-conference options available for $150. Conference fee includes lunch both days. Pre-conference fee includes a boxed lunch.
