Design for Diversity: Towards Inclusive Information Systems for Cultural Heritage, Amanda Rust (Northeastern University)
This video presents a project supported by an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) National Forums grant that focuses on the ways in which information systems embody and reinforce cultural norms, and asks how we can design systems that account for diverse cultural materials and ways of knowing. The project focus is on information systems in cultural heritage organizations: libraries, archives, and museums.

Library Analytics Case Study: Informing and Transforming Library Instruction Programs, Laurie Alexander, Doreen Bradley (University of Michigan)
The University of Michigan Library launched an experiment to test the question of how library analytics could transform its instruction program. This presentation includes an overview of the project, including challenges, methodology, and preliminary results.
