Institutional expenses for public access to research data continue to be of significant importance for university administration, including the research office, campus information technology, the libraries, and other institutes and offices on academic campuses. Articulating these expenses is critical to effectively advocate and plan for compliance to federal policies for data management and sharing. The panel will report out on recent mixed-methods research conducted on the institutional expenses for these policies from a researcher and administrator perspective.
