January 3, 2020

Josh Hadro
Managing Director
IIIF Consortium

The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) has recently published the 3.0 beta versions of the Image and Presentation APIs, which now allow for the presentation and annotation of time-based media, among other important additions. This presentation will provide an overview of this new set of IIIF specifications and developments in the supporting community, touching specifically on the possibilities for audio and moving image materials as well as new developments in the efforts to make IIIF-compliant materials more discoverable to relevant audiences of scholars and researchers.
