Home / Topics / Artificial Intelligence / Alethea: Transforming Student Engagement with Academic Course Materials

February 28, 2024

Eran Segal
Senior Director of Product Management
Clarivate

Tracy Elliott
Library Dean
Florida Gulf Coast University

Student success is rooted in the ability to read critically and to make sense of challenging scholarly materials. Alethea Academic Coach blends learning methodologies and generative AI capabilities to improve student learning skills and drive retention. Alethea promotes deeper engagement with reading materials, providing the support students need without doing the work for them. This briefing will provide an overview of Alethea and will discuss outcomes from current academic implementations, including a presentation by a university library director who will discuss their experiences with the tool.
