Artificial Intelligence
The potentially transformative technologies of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) have captivated the higher education community, as with all sectors, and they have already begun to reshape and redefine many aspects of scholarship, education, and the research enterprise, including the way we talk about and conceptualize much about this work. CNI explores the practical applications of AI/ML technologies in areas such as driving discovery and enhancing scholarly communication, to name a few, and our interest also extends to broader questions, including intellectual property, sustainability, privacy, and more. Examples of how these and related issues are explored at our meetings and in our work are assembled within this topic.
