Mobile Technologies

Increasingly ubiquitous mobile devices are used by most sectors of CNI’s community to access information and services and to enhance communication and interaction regardless of location. Institutional adoption is in rapid development, and CNI encourages institutions to develop cohesive strategies as they enter the arena of provision of content and services for mobile devices. In particular, CNI highlights strategies that incorporate services from a wide variety of institutional units, including libraries.
