In this session, participants and the presenters of the OAI Update session will exchange ideas related to future directions of the Open Archives Initiative (OAI). The goals for the discussion session are:
• To solicit feedback on topics addressed in the OAI Update session (especially the proposed use of the OAI-PMH to transfer content between systems, and the OAI-rights work)
• To discuss OAI-related efforts, including the DLF OAI Best Practices effort and NSDL Validation work
• To help shape the agenda for future OAI efforts.
