Project Manager for Digital Visualizations
Colorado State University
This lightning talk will be an introduction to the three-year, $2.1 million VECTOR (Visualize Engineering Concepts Through Open Resources) Project. Funded by the Department of Education, this project brings together three Colorado institutions (Colorado State University Fort Collins, Colorado University Boulder, and Colorado State University Pueblo) to deliver an open online repository of engineering visualizations. Materials created in this multi-project will fill an important gap in open educational materials for engineering courses and comprehension that are currently only available through expensive commercial platforms. Driven by deliberate collaboration with the project’s audience, the team is creating a content library that educators and students across the globe can benefit from.
