As part of its strategic transformation, the American Institute of Physics (AIP) has brought together decades of research capabilities to focus on cultivating and empowering positive change in the physical sciences. The presentation will provide a brief overview of AIP’s new overarching research strategy, an overall approach to leveraging digital technologies to support interdisciplinary research on historical and contemporary social, cultural, economic, and policy aspects of the physical sciences enterprise with the goal of improving how the physical sciences benefit humanity. The presentation will conclude with an invitation to opportunities for collaboration.
