CNI Spring 2021
Virtual Membership Meeting
March 15-26, 2021
#cni21s
Representatives from CNI member organizations gather twice annually. In the current public health emergency, the Spring 2021 meeting will be held virtually across two weeks to take advantage of the virtual environment. Please consult the meeting schedule for additional information.
Plenary sessions, topical panels moderated by CNI Executive Director Clifford Lynch, and a small number of project briefings will be live, but for this meeting, we expect that the vast majority of breakout sessions will be pre-recorded and viewable on-demand by meeting participants (and subsequently publicly available). Most, if not all, live sessions will be recorded for later viewing and public distribution.
Registration information will be sent to member representatives the week of Jan. 11
Project briefings are the very heart of every membership meeting, allowing participants to interact informally about projects, initiatives, and ideas of their own choosing. The call for proposals has been issued and the deadline for submissions is February 12.
Plenary sessions include presentations of CNI’s latest initiatives as well as insights from national and international leaders in the networked information community.
CNI is committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for inquiry, constructive disagreement, and intellectual freedom and honesty. We do not tolerate personal attacks, harassment of any kind, violence, or disruptive behavior. Please be respectful of our community’s diversity and generous of others’ views. Please bring concerns to our attention by contacting a member of the CNI staff.
