Established in 2017, the Center for Research Data and Digital Scholarship is a partnership between Research Computing and the University Libraries.

We are a collaborative team of data and information professionals, scholars, and educators with expertise in data-intensive scholarship and teaching. Our goal is to serve as an interdisciplinary hub and resource on campus that empowers everyone as they navigate the Research Lifecycle, through workshops and seminars, certificate programs, and collaborative opportunities.

What would you like to offer next?

We would like to:

  • Enhance and expand usage of services and infrastructure for open research publishing, especially in light of the White House OSTP memo
  • Put support for statistical analysis on firmer footing through working with our partners in LISA
  • Regularly offer our graduate student data bootcamp microcredentialed course and extend it to broader audiences, and develop other such microcredentialed courses, e.g., in HPC
  • As a DARIAH cooperating partner, increase our visibility to international DH community
  • Develop integrated IRB processes with campus partners to support researchers effectively in working with highly confidential/high impact data
  • Put the campus Research Cybersecurity Program on solid footing and achieve CMMC compliance
  • Develop undergraduate programs in data humanities with campus partners
